Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently suggested offsetting other revenue losses by targeting tourists who vacation in the Sunshine State.

During an appearance in Palm Bay, DeSantis responded to a question by saying, “Tax the tourists. Tax some of the foreigners,” according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Disney Starlight is set to debut at Magic Kingdom this summer and we can’t wait. Disney has shared that the parade will be “brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy” from the animated classic, Pinocchio. We know that there will be characters from Encanto, Frozen, and Peter Pan, too, and Disney just revealed a new look at one of the parade floats!
Epic Universe isn’t the only new thing coming to Universal Orlando!

A recently filed permit confirmed that Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit would be closed and demolished, and eventually replaced by another attraction. Of course, Universal hasn’t clued us into what this new attraction might be, but it does look like things are quickly moving forward as another permit has been filed for this project.

The BRAND-NEW theme park officially opens on May 22nd, 2025, and will be home to five different themed lands: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. And now, Epic Universe Express Passes, VIP Experiences, and the Darkmoor Makeup Experience are all on sale!

Last October, Lighting McQueen’s Racing Academy closed to make way for Disney Villians: Unfairly Ever After.

The original concept art for the show gave us a sneak peek at some of the villains who would be part of this new stage show this summer — and now we know that Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will be opening at Hollywood Studios on May 27th, 2025!
