After Disney World’s historic closure and reopening in 2020, we began to see some supply shortages in the parks.
Toilet paper
For example, at one point there was a noodle shortage and we were not able to get our beloved ‘Ohana noodles. We also witnessed a bit of a ketchup crisis in 2021. We also saw merchandise shortages in the parks. During this time, a lot of people were panic buying toilet paper (why is it always toilet paper?). Now, that toilet paper panic buying is BACK and we know why.

From the EPCOT Festival of the Arts to the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival to the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, we go to the festivals for THE FOOD. Now, don’t get us wrong, we do love the festival entertainment and special events, but really, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE FOOD. Well, Disney is releasing a new cookbook of some fan-favorite festival foods, and we’re sharing three recipes from that book EXCLUSIVELY with you.
It’s spooky season, and we’ve been trying out all the fall and Halloween snacks throughout Disneyland Resort.

We made sure to grab the exclusive snacks at the SOLD OUT Oogie Boogie Bash in California Adventure. We also are STILL dreaming about that Blackberry Cheesecake Crostata we had at Jolly Holiday in Disneyland. Of course, we also had the Pumpkin Macaron there (how could we NOT?). So when we learned a new spooky Halloween Dole Whip was coming to Disneyland, YOU KNOW WE WERE THERE TO TRY IT. Yes, there’s a new spooky Dole Whip in Disneyland.

Sure, you probably know about all the great original TV shows you can watch, including Agatha All Along, which premiered recently (and just in time for witchy season). You might also know about Inside Out 2, which recently came to the streaming platform. Maybe you’re just busy watching classic Disney movies on the service or your kids are watching Bluey. Well, there’s a NEW feature on Disney+ available now that you might not know about.
One thing we love about visiting Disney World is that there’s free transportation that takes us pretty much everywhere at the resort.
The Monorail
There are buses, boats, the Skyliner, and OF COURSE, the Monorail. Now, we love taking the Monorail as it’s so convenient if you’re staying in the Magic Kingdom area, but we do think that this classic Disney transportation could use a few updates, so hear us out.
Are we Disney World pros? Yes, we are! Do we still make mistakes in Disney World? Well, to quote The Good Place, “Pobody’s Nerfect.”

For example, we still trip over the trolley tracks in Magic Kingdom although we’ve walked down Main Street, U.S.A. MILLIONS of times. We also still occasionally forget to bring our rain gear to the park, even on days when we KNOW it’s going to rain. Yes, we even occasionally still wear shoes that we think could be a bad idea (and they usually are) and have achy feet at the end of the day. In other words, we’re human. So we have a story to share with you about us getting lost at a Disney hotel.
If you happen to be a fan of a certain mischievous blue alien named Stitch, we’ve got some big news for you.

So, yes, 626 day has come and gone (and we celebrated with some fun Stitch-themed snacks), but we’ve also LOVED some of the new Stitch Halloween souvenirs we’ve seen in the parks and online. We’re still a little…well…we’re not sure HOW we feel about the live-action Stitch we’ll be seeing in movie theaters soon. But we love Stitch, and because of that, we’ve created the PERFECT Stitch Tee to celebrate that love.
Hey, maybe we haven’t mentioned it, but it can get HOT in Disney World.
It gets hot in Disney World.
Okay, yes, we know we’ve mentioned it. We mention it every chance we can because we want you to be prepared for the heat and humidity. Even in the winter months, we can have some pretty hot days. That’s why we’re always telling you about making sure you stay hydrated, keeping a water bottle handy, getting that free water when you can, and doing everything you can to stay cool. Well, one of our favorite ways to stay cool in the parks is pretty popular…and for a very good reason!
When you’re in Disney World, it feels like a magical place. Or better yet, the world just kinda’ goes away and you’re just somewhere else.

Disney adults just get that, and it’s why we make repeat visits to Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney parks all over the world.
