The Mad Tea Party and Transportation Wishables collections that just went online TODAY!
And now, we’ve spotted them in the parks!
We’ve loved seeing all the Wishables collections that Disney has been releasing over the past year!
From Toy Story Mania to Aladdin to Inside Out, we’ve loved all the cute plushes we’ve seen in Wishables form! And now, a brand new collection has landed online at shopDisney!
2020 was quite a unique year for everyone, including The Walt Disney Company.
All of the Disney theme parks around the world temporarily closed for a period of time, and some have had to shut down again or have remained closed. Things have been tough for those in the community as well with many Cast Members having been furloughed or laid off, and so many dealing with loss due to the pandemic. But, in a time of difficulty, so many have also reached out to help others in need.
Throughout 2020 we saw some Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge merch finally arriving online at shopDisney!
We’ve loved being able to snatch up some of our favorite merch from Batuu online, including creature plushes, awesome clothing, and more! And now even more Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge merch is available online. Want a few droid companions or other merch from Droid Depot? These are DEFINITELY the items you’re looking for!
We’ve seen some pretty big changes since Disney World reopened last summer!
We’ve watched park capacity increase from 25 to 35 percent, we’ve seen more crowds at the parks, and we’ve seen the return of park hopping!
Hello, everyone, from EPCOT!
We spent a day at the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow to see what’s new and not only did we get to see a QUEEN, but we also saw the first Festival of the Arts tents going up, some new masks, and more!
Back in March 2020, we got our first peek at the new Cirque du Soleil show, Drawn To Life, which was originally set to premiere at Disney Springs in April of last year.
However, the show eventually canceled all performances due to the global health crisis. After Disney World’s closure and reopening, the show’s premiere date was pushed to November 5th, and then pushed again later to November 17th 2020.
Welcome back, DFB friends, and Happy New Year!
We spent a day at Disney Springs to see what’s new, and we found some new merch, ate some cookies, and checked out some brand new Valentine’s Day cards! Also, Disney Springs has resumed its pre-holiday hours and is now open from 10PM to 10PM Sunday through Thursday and 10PM to 11PM Friday through Sunday.
When Disney World reopened, many of the resort’s entertainment options were either modified or shut down due to new health and safety guidelines in place at the parks.
This included much of the parks’ nighttime entertainment options, including the Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom and Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The holidays at Disney World often mean that some attractions get holiday overlays, such as Living with the Land at EPCOT.
But there was one EPCOT attraction that got a holiday update that we never expected: Journey Into Imagination With Figment!
