Sometimes they also make us cry (happy tears, of course), or they make us laugh, or they just make us go “AWWWW!” and fill us with utter joy. We recently had one of those days.
We spend so much time at Disney World theme parks that we forget how much fun the hotels can be!

But take it from us, Disney World hotels are a LOT of fun. Each hotel has its own theme, activities, and vibe. Each also has its own food and merchandise. That’s why we visit the hotels a lot — to see what kind of new things we can find. You know what that means — it’s time for a Disney Worlds hotels update!
Walt Disney was quoted as saying that he saw Disneyland as something that would never be complete — he imagined Disney Parks always changing and evolving with the times.

We’ve seen that at Disney World, especially most recently with the massive ongoing EPCOT transformation, but we also recently noticed a smaller change — certain characters at Disney World recently got a bit of a transformation of their own.
If anything is consistent at Disney World, it’s change.

That’s especially true these days with new attractions like TRON Lightcycle Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind on the way, a new restaurant in Toy Story Land AND at EPCOT, and price increases across the resort. Not only is the 50th Anniversary Celebration still going on with all its snacks, but we also have been nomming on some Valentine’s Day Treats, as well as the “Celebrate Soulfully” foods that have been released in honor of Black History Month. Let’s just say this has been a month of some GOOD eating. But we’re not done yet.
Weighted plushes are a great way to help kids battle anxiety and get a good night’s sleep — they’re like weighted blankets, but way more fun.

Disney began releasing their own version of weighted plushes last year and have been adding even more characters to the collection — we’ve even seen some of them pop up at Target! But recently, we spotted three NEW weighted plushes online!

We’re back in the parks to keep you updated on everything Disney World has to offer. So while we’re traipsing all over Magic Kingdom drooling over every cupcake and trying not to collect yet ANOTHER pair of Minnie ears (y’all, it’s hard saying “no”), we’re also making notes and taking photos just for you! Okay, sure, there probably are a LOT of iconic things about Disney Parks, but there’s something extra special about Mickey balloons, right? Just seeing them on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disney World always makes us smile, and we even get excited when we spot new balloons. But now you can get Mickey balloons that you can take home with you.
So many Valentine’s Day treats, so little time… .

But that still hasn’t stopped us from trying as many Valentine’s Day snacks as we can find at Disney World. Seriously, we’re going to have a massive sugar crash after this weekend after eating things like a bouquet of Mickey and Minnie waffles, a cake with an edible diamond ring, a red velvet whoopie pie, and more! But here we are, having a Valentine’s Day Dole Whip, too!
Throughout the year, rides close at Disney World for refurbishment. These closures can last days, weeks, and months.
Splash Mountain is open again!
But today, a ride that just had a months-long closure for refurbishment is finally back up and running again. So let’s Zipptiy-Doo-Da over to Magic Kingdom and check it out!
