What was Tropical Storm Isaias has now been strengthened to Hurricane Isaias, with the Eastern coast of Florida remaining in its path. The state is likely to feel the effects of the storm this weekend, potentially even in Disney World.
The most wonderful time of the year will be here more quickly than you might think, and we’re starting to wonder about some of the festivities that could take place in Disney World.

The global health crisis has had a significant effect on the way things operate in the Disney parks, and things haven’t stopped adjusting yet. We recently shared that Disney has canceled Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party completely for 2020. Well, Christmastime is not too long after that event, so will Disney World cancel Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party? Hurricane Skies in Disney World’s Epcot
This morning, a storm strengthened to officially become Tropical Storm Isaias. The storm continues to have Florida in it’s forecasted cone and now, the National Hurricane Center expects that it will strengthen to a category 1 hurricane this weekend.

We’re always keeping a sharp eye out for work being done in Disney’s biggest work-in-progress park and that means looking at a LOT of the building permits that the company is filing. We’re able to spot crazy new inventions and interesting construction projects this way, and today we spotted a new permit for a project NEAR Spaceship Earth! Hmm…
We are really, really excited about the upcoming Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ride.

We like to check in on the France Pavilion a LOT to see what kind of work is being done to get this new attraction ready for opening. Recently, we flew over in the Skyliner and snapped some exciting pics! The France Pavilion expansion looks GOOD, y’all!
We’re in sunny Hollywood Studios today and we’re feeling glamorous.

But, here’s the thing. We’ve run into an issue — the droid we’re looking for is GONE. You might remember that the BB-8 Sipper missing the last time we swung by the popcorn carts. Now this adorable souvenir has been removed from the menu completely!
The ESPN Wide World of Sports in Disney World is going to be an exciting place today.

As you’ve probably heard (it’s big news!) the NBA is set to resume their season in Walt Disney World after creating a bubble of players, staff, and reporters. Now, with the bubble keeping positive tests low, the NBA 2019/2020 Season will resume TONIGHT in Walt Disney World!
