We’re getting a new fireworks show and character cavalcade in Magic Kingdom, a new daytime show in Animal Kingdom, and golden character statues throughout the parks! We also will FINALLY see the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and the expansion of the France Pavilion in EPCOT! Drinking around the world in EPCOT is how many guests spend their day at the park.
We’re off to a great start!
Mexico is known for its fun margaritas, Japan its delicious sake, and the U.K. has all those crazy combinations of beer and liquor you can try! And while those drinks are all great, wine is a HUGE part of many of the countries around the World Showcase, and it can sometimes be overlooked. Even though EPCOT does have the Food and Wine Festival each Fall, we sometimes think people don’t know about ALL the places in the park where you can find great wine!

Black Widow is OUT NOW in movie theaters and on Disney+!
WE’RE SO PUMPED FOR THIS
We feel like we’ve been waiting for sooo long to see Natasha Romanoff in her very own movie, and the time has finally come! We’ve seen new things around the Disney parks in celebration of the movie, like a Black Widow burger and milkshake in Disney World and the Avenger wearing a brand new suit in Disneyland! There’s also some awesome Black Widow merchandise online right now, and you can get a free gift when you buy merch on shopDisney!

Tower of Terror
Disney World previously extended Hollywood Studios’ hours for August, changing closing time from 7PM to 8PM. That extra hour in the park is definitely useful! You have more time for your boarding group to be called for Rise of the Resistance, there are more reservation times available at Oga’s Cantina, and more time to get in line for popular rides like Tower of Terror! And guess what? Disney just extended park hours AGAIN for August in Hollywood Studios!
We have found some super cute Disney dresses recently!
Tomorrowland!
There was the Tomorrowland dress that was out of this world, a Cruella dress that took Disney by storm, and the recent Loki dress that has us wanting to take down the TVA! It didn’t seem like we could find dresses we loved more than these, and then we saw an AMAZING new dress in Magic Kingdom today, you have to take a look for yourself!
International travel to Orlando has been lower than in previous years due to the global pandemic.
Flying to Orlando
Foreign flights made up 13% of all flights to Orlando International Airport before the pandemic, now they only make up 6%, according to Orlando Business Journal. However, more international travel is now resuming and one of Orlando’s busiest airlines is planning on trying to boost that number.
Summertime means sweet treats around the Disney parks with some fresh flavors!
Orange Blossom Cupcake
Flavors of Florida in Disney Springs is on a roll with their citrus-flavored desserts. There’s a Key lime pie milkshake, a Key lime pie donut, a Key lime pie cookie, AND a citrus blossom cupcake (orange you glad we didn’t say Key lime?). We’ve also seen other summer flavors like watermelon Dole whip in Disney World and a watermelon caramel apple in Disneyland. And we just found a NEW treat in Disneyland that will make you want to go to the beach!
