Who’s ready to visit EPCOT’s most problematic (and only!) tiny village?

The tiny train town in the Germany Pavilion is one of my favorite places to visit because there are so many quirky stories to uncover among the residents there. In fact, I visit and report on their shenanigans so often that I’ve been dubbed the mayor of the itty bitty city. And during Madam Mayor’s most recent visit, I found some interesting tidbits.

When we visit Disney World, we’re constantly on the lookout for freebies we can snag to commemorate our vacations. From celebration buttons to little character stickers from Cast Members, we’ve found all kinds of options in the past. But if you’re an Annual Passholder, there’s a free souvenir that you won’t want to miss out on — the magnets!
Perhaps the most important part of your outfit in Disney World is your footwear.

Seriously, wear the wrong shoes and you’ll be legitimately miserable by the end of the day. You want to make sure you’ve got something comfortable that can withstand literally thousands of steps in the theme parks. Many Disney fans swear by Brooks brand for their visits to Disney World, and we’ve compiled a list of shoes that we often see people wearing.
Quick service restaurants at Disney World hotels don’t always have the best reputations. Many people will opt to skip the food courts at the value and moderate Disney World hotels if they have the chance, and even the grab-and-go food at the deluxe resorts isn’t really much to write home about most of the time.

However, there’s always the chance that you’ll find a hidden gem menu item at one of these hotels, so recently, we visited Beach Club Marketplace at Disney’s Beach Club Resort to see if the food there is praiseworthy.

While some love the add-on for its convenience and ease of use, others avoid it because it can be a waste of money if not used to its full potential. Either way, it likely makes Disney a decent amount of money, otherwise they wouldn’t continue to offer it for your vacation. In fact, the Disney Dining Plan is returning in 2026, and it looks like the prices are going UP.

Yep, we’re talking about the All-Star Resorts! This trio of resorts have sports, music, and movie themes, and they’re the cheapest hotels available in Disney World. That price point means that they’re definitely not the fanciest places to stay on property, and therefore, they have quite a few haters. But we’re here to tell you why All-Star Movies Resort isn’t really all that bad.
