Journey of Water Inspired by Moana
The brand-new Moana-inspired walk-through attraction — Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana — is set to open in the fall of 2023. We’ve seen sneak peeks of the attraction, and some of the construction walls have come down in the area, but we FINALLY got the chance to experience it for ourselves and we’re taking YOU with us!

There’s a LOT to Do
You might already be planning a visit to this airport as your way to get to/from your home and Walt Disney World, but there’s a lot to do in the airport aside from stressfully walking to/from your gate and running to the restroom before your flight takes off. There are some seriously incredible restaurants here (including ones run by folks at or coming to Disney Springs!), theme park stores you won’t want to miss, and more. There’s just one problem — a bunch of that is PAST security. And you can’t get through security and into the rest of the airport without a booked flight and boarding pass right? WRONG!
CALLING ALL TANGLED FANS — get ready to book your next Disney trip!
Rapunzel
You can see Rapunzel in Disney World during the Festival of Fantasy Parade, say “hello” to her at Rapunzel’s Royal Table on the Disney Magic cruise ship, and see her in a few other spots at various Disney parks. But soon, an entire Tangled-themed area will be coming to one Disney park and it’ll even have a TANGLED RESTAURANT!
Update: Though heavy construction continues on the exterior of the hotel, it seems that the construction within the lobby has ended and the construction walls have been removed.

The holiday season typically brings a number of unique decorations and celebrations to Disney World. At EPCOT, 2023 will bring the return of the International Festival of the Holidays. This year, we’ll also see the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the start of the NEW Disney Jollywood Nights party. The holiday fun extends beyond the parks with decor, snacks, and more at Disney Springs and Disney’s hotels. But we’re very worried about one particularly iconic holiday display this year…
Disney World has some absolutely incredible hotels — we’re not denying that — but the hotels at the Most Magical Place on Earth also have a FATAL FLAW.
Grand Floridian Lobby
No, it’s not the over-the-top Disney theming at some spots (which might not appeal to older adults) or the lack of Disney theming at other places (which might not appeal to kiddos). And it’s not even the current lack of room service at most of the hotels (though that is something to consider before booking). Nope, Disney World’s hotels have a different fatal flaw and it’s something you’ll need to know about before booking.

Thus far, we’ve shared updated weather notices about the storm and its projected path, the Orange County Mayor has warned of the weather impact in the area due to the hurricane, and Disney has made specific requests for those staying at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground when it comes to storm precautions. The Haunted Mansion in Disney World recently got some upgrades and it is set to get the addition of the Hatbox Ghost by the end of the year too. We’ve also seen amazing Haunted Mansion items released on Amazon, hints that the Haunted Mansion could be featured on Disney’s newest cruise ship, and more haunting news. But now it seems the Haunted Mansion area in Disneyland is going to get some MAJOR changes.
