The Holiday season is one of the busiest at Walt Disney World, with events including Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, and EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays (including performances of the Candlelight Processional) drawing in huge crowds. Of course, the Holiday season culminates on New Year’s Day! We headed into Magic Kingdom on the first day of 2025 to see what the crowds were looking like.

However, it is still a vacation, so there’s nothing wrong with indulging your sweet tooth and having what essentially amounts to dessert for breakfast.
Acclaimed actress Linda Lavin has passed away unexpectedly at the age of age of 87.

Lavin, best known for her starring role on the classic sitcom Alice – – for which she was nominated for an Emmy and two Golden Globes – – passed “unexpectedly due to complications from recently discovered lung cancer” according to what one of her PR representatives told Deadline.
