Have an extra day to fill during your Disney World vacation? Try spending it at Disney Springs!
This shopping and dining complex has dozens of offerings, from snack shops to gourmet restaurants to brand-name stores. You could honestly spend an entire day exploring the place. But coming soon, Disney Springs will boast a NEW entertainment offering — LEVEL99!
Several years ago, a large building in Disney Springs’ West Side area was home to an “indoor interactive theme park” called DisneyQuest. This special offering was available from June 19th, 1998 to July 2nd, 2017, featuring a variety of virtual and/or interactive attractions.
DisneyQuest closed to make way for the new NBA Experience, which opened in 2019. Sadly, the NBA Experience only lasted a few months, closing in 2020 due to the pandemic, and then never reopening afterward.
After the closure of the NBA Experience, the building sat abandoned for years. Aside from a few pop-up experiences, it hasn’t been home to anything operational in FIVE years. Thankfully, Disney has announced something new coming to the space — LEVEL99!
LEVEL99 is a destination for “real-world, challenge-based, social entertainment” for adults featuring over 50 physical and mental challenges set in artistic environments. It’s essentially arcade-meets-entertainment center. Sounds fun!
LEVEL99 already has a few locations around the country, but the Disney Springs spot will be the largest one yet, with over 45,000 square feet in a two-story space. This area will include a dining location that features Detroit-style pizza and a full chef-crafted menu.
According to LEVEL99‘s website, the goal of your experience is to “work with your friends to discover new challenges, collect all the stars, find digital treasure and master new experiences.” If you enjoy activities like escape rooms or obstacle courses, this will be right up your alley! You can play three different kinds of games: rooms, duels, and art hunts.
Tickets are required to play the LEVEL99 games, and reservations are encouraged to make sure your group can get in during your desired time. There’s no age restriction, though this does seem to be an experience marketed to adults.
So, when can we expect this new addition? Well, there’s no opening date yet, but recently, a permit has been filed to commence construction on the building. The permit was filed on April 16th, 2025, with an expiration date one year from that.
So we’ll be waiting with bated breath for any news about this addition. To learn more about what you can check out in Disney Springs, check out our ultimate guide video below!

That is just lame. I’ve been to Level 99. It is just a bunch of lame escape rooms. THAT is supposed to be a theme park worthy experience. Wow. Disney just keeps sinking deeper and deeper into obscurity. Who ever is calling the shots has no grasp on what the Disney experience is supposed to be. We lost Pleasure Island and Disney Quest and so much more to have mall retail shopping. Woopie. Such a shame. And sadly, people keep paying the unreal prices to keep going so Disney will never get the message people are truly unhappy. Maybe we will get more destroyed section of the classical park so we can see unneeded attractions no one wants. Rip Adventurela d and liberty Square. Rip Muppet vision. So glad it’s being replaced with another monsters Inc attraction.
Still miss Disney Quest
