Our best guess is to mark May 7 for resort guests and May 14 for the general public as the most likely dates — though this is just a prediction, and nothing is official until Disney confirms it.

• If you’re traveling in the fall and the Halloween party is a must-do, start checking Disney’s website and social media channels ASAP.
• Disney usually gives a little heads-up before sales go live, but it can be as little as a week or two, so don’t sleep on it.
• You’ve got to be ready when that ticket page goes live and refresh like it’s 2014 and you’re trying to get Beyoncé pre-sale.

And don’t forget — this event does sell out, especially the earlier dates (which tend to be cheaper) and the nights leading up to Halloween. So if you already know your travel dates, be ready to act fast.
