We Know What Disney Fans Will Be Doing This Saturday

If you missed your chance to experience some of the BIGGEST names in Disney entertainment LIVE at Disney World, Disney’s bringing them right to your home!

One of the biggest ways to kick off the new year at Disney World is by experiencing EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts, which highlights Disney On Broadway performers on select nights. While we love watching these talented folks perform live right in front of us, the festival is limited to running only a few short weeks. Luckily, if you missed them before or just want to re-live the fun, there’s a new way to help you catch it soon, and you won’t even have to leave your home!

This past year marked a HUGE milestone for Disney On Broadway. While we’re used to seeing these shows live in New York during their runs and re-living the fun again and again through the Disney On Broadway performances during EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, it seems like these performers, songs, and the joy they bring just don’t lose their charms.

In fact, it was such a big celebration for Disney on Broadway this year that EPCOT decked out the entire inside of the ComuniCore Hall in its honor. Inside, several costumes, puppets, decorations, and dioramas were on display from some of the most notable Disney shows brought to life on Broadway, like The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Newsies, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, and more.

BUT, if you happened to miss the celebration (or want to sing along again), Disney is bringing a brand new special to Disney+! Starting Saturday, April 12th, the official Disney on Broadway YouTube channel will debut 30 Years of Disney on Broadway Concert Celebration — LIVE from EPCOT beginning at 11 AM EST. This special is comprised of some of the biggest names in Broadway on stage at The American Gardens Theater to sing their iconic songs and reconnect with the Disney characters they brought to life.

This is actually one of our favorite things to experience during EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, and we can’t wait to be able to experience it in a new way from home very soon! The premiere link is already set up so check back in here on Saturday to watch.
