Let’s start with the bag! This bag will feel small when you throw it around your shoulder, but you’d be surprised to see what it can fit. We put our phone, wallet, and other essentials in it so that when we’re riding an attraction, we don’t have to worry about accidentally leaving our phone on Big Thunder Mountain (and we definitely aren’t speaking from experience).

Next up, chargers! If you’ve been following DFB for some time, you know we love FuelRods. We never have to worry about charging them because when they’re empty, we just swap them out at the free kiosks! Switching them out only takes a minute, and there are plenty scattered around Magic Kingdom, so we never feel like we’re looking for one. While you can get the battery packs in the parks, we highly recommend getting them here, where they’re cheaper and give you two!

Florida weather likes to hit whenever you aren’t expecting it, but if you carry one of these with you, you’ll always be ready! This small umbrella fits right into the belt bag and is perfect for when your family is hiding out in a store and sends you out to go get Mickey pretzels.

Speaking of weather, besides dealing with the rain, you’ll likely be dealing with the heat. These towels are a lifesaver! You simply dunk them in cold water and place them around your body, bringing an extra bit of cool to your park day. We like to place them around our necks or waistbands while waiting in those hot outdoor queues.

Another tip for beating the heat: bring a fan! These little fans are rechargeable and have three different adjustable speeds. They even look like Mickey with their little ears! You can even charge them with those handy dandy FuelRods you picked up. These are great to hand to kiddos when they’re waiting to meet their favorite character.
When you have a Lightning Lane at 2 and a dinner reservation at 4, the last thing you want to worry about is the weather and your phone battery. All of these supplies will slip right into your belt bag, making them easy to always keep with you.

Yep, have all of these (except the fan) – good to have even if you don’t think you will need them. And you don’t have to have them all the time – i only bring the umbrella and the cooling towel to the park that day if i think i will need it (seasonal).
I think it’s only fair to let people know that the fuel Rod kiosks are only in the magic kingdom, not the other parks, and there are only two kiosks in the whole park.
Hi Jim! The EPCOT FuelRod location is near Spaceship Earth in the gift shop. To find FuelRod stations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, look for them at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, near the G-Force Records logo, and at Pizza Rizzo’s in Grand Avenue. Lastly, in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can find the FuelRod kiosk at Island Mercantile.
