So many new things are coming to Disney World that it’s hard to keep up with everything. Just WHOA! We’ve got three NEW lands coming to three parks, as well as a huge expansion. We’ll be getting new rides and EVERYTHING!
But that’s not all. New ENTERTAINMENT is also coming to Disney World. Magic Kingdom is getting a brand new nighttime parade called Disney Starlight, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a brand new show, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After (yep, it’s a VILLAINS show). Well, now, Disney has dropped NEW details about both!!!
Let’s start with the new details Disney just dropped about Disney Starlight, a new nighttime parade coming to Magic Kingdom in the summer of 2025. Disney has already released some concept art of floats we’ll see in the parade, but they just added ANOTHER float to the line-up and this one has the Princesses. In the concept art, we can see a beautiful lit-up float with Aurora and Philip, Tiana and Naveen, Cinderella and Prince Charming, and Belle and the Beast.
Disney revealed that the focus of the parade will be “a nod to the past with our eyes firmly set on the future.” The team working on the parade are looking at past Disney nighttime parades, promising “more than a few Easter eggs.” However, they are also looking to some of Disney’s earliest animated movies for inspiration. The Princesses float is inspired by Disney Legend and artist Mary Blair’s original concept artwork for Cinderella.
The parade will also feature moments from other Disney movies like Moana, Peter Pan, Frozen, Encanto, and more.

A new nighttime parade “Disney Starlight” will come to Magic Kingdom in Summer 2025 using the latest technology to bring Disney stories to life and will feature moments from fan-favorite films like Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Peter Pan,” “Frozen” and “Encanto.”
The Blue Fairy will be leading the parade.
We also got a sneak peek at what the Disney Live Entertainment Costuming team is working up for the new parade. Costumes will use “a blend of innovative lighting techniques and whimsical custom fabrics” to create an experience that looks to be “kissed by starlight.”
Here’s a prototype costume piece for the parade. The idea is that it will swirl down the parade route as the fabric picks up lighting from the floats with each light synchronized to the music. WOW.
But that’s not all. Disney also revealed NEW details about Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, a new Villains show coming to Hollywood Studios this summer. In the show, the Magic Mirror has summoned some of Disney’s most dastardly villains as they break through the glass to take the stage to tell us why they’re so misunderstood.
“In the end, it will be on you to make the final call in a delightfully wicked finale filled with dozens of the most infamous evildoers awaiting your decision from within the Mirror’s realm. ”
Disney World’s New Villains Show Is One Step Closer To Opening
Oh, and here’s a sneak peek at the puppets you’ll soon see at the new Little Mermaid show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Rehearsals are underway now! These will be used for the brand-new “Kiss the Girl” scene in the show. We can’t wait to see it!

Don’t care for the Villains stuff… this is supposed to be the Happiest Place on Earth, and not the negative villa out place on earth. Happy to see the Muppets will not be abandoned behind the scenes. At a crummy dark coaster.
