California is in the middle of a major natural disaster as three fires rip through the Los Angeles area. Residents are instructed to evacuate if they live near the impacted zones, and the evacuation orders continue to expand.

The fires began on Tuesday, January 7th. There are currently five fires burning throughout California, including one near Pasadena in the San Gabriel Mountains, one in part of the San Fernando Valley called Sylmar, and one in the Palisades area, which continues to migrate due to the Santa Ana winds. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is still investigating the cause of the fires, but officials believe the fires will continue to cause more damage. As the fires continue to burn, many are questioning the path of destruction. Are areas like Anaheim, California, home to Disneyland Resort, close to the fires?
Below is a map of the Hurst Fire, the Eaton Fire, the Sunset Fire, and the Palisades Fire, which are all located in the Los Angeles area. Anaheim is located about 47 miles from the Pacific Palisades and about 43 miles from the Eaton Fire.
