There’s a lot that goes into planning a Disney World vacation. You have to figure out your budget, where you’re going to stay, how long you want to stay, what kind of park ticket to get, and more.
You also have to figure out HOW you’re going to get to Disney World, and for many of us, the answer is by flying into Orlando International Airport. Well, we’ve got some good news on that front: two NEW flights are being added from two BIG cities to Orlando!
According to The Orlando Business Journal, Frontier Airlines is adding two NEW flights to Orlando. The budget airline will begin flying to Orlando from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City on October 27th and from Washington Dulles International Airport (Washington, D.C.) in Virginia on November 14th.
This will be the first time since before 2020 that Frontier has flown to Orlando from Washington Dulles Airport. So if you live in the area, you will soon have a new budget option for getting to Disney World. In 2023, Frontier Airlines was the fourth largest airline flying into Orlando, with a total of 7.11 million passengers.
Of course, there’s more to getting to Disney World than the flight. You still have to figure out how to get from Orlando International Airport to Disney World. The good news is you have several options, including renting a car, a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, or a shared shuttle service like Mears Connect driven by Sunshine.
You’ll also need to know how to navigate Orlando International Airport: we’ve got all our best tips for handling this huge airport right here.
