It’s almost time for the first Oogie Boogie Bash of 2024 at Disney California Adventure!

The first party of the season is on August 25th! If you don’t know, Oogie Boogie Bash is the Halloween party in Disney California Adventure. It’s a fun time of trick-or-treating, Halloween entertainment, hanging out with Disney Villains, and of course, eating tasty seasonal snacks. Disney Villains at Oogie Boogie Bash are some of the best parts of the party. You get to see them in their true evil environment in all their glamour. This year, Disney has shared a sneak peek of a new villain joining the party!

If you’re headed down the Treat Trails, you’ll get to enjoy all the free snacks handed out by Cast Members as well as get to see and interact with some of our favorite Disney Villains!

The new evil scientist is coming to Oogie Boogie Bash, and he’s on the lookout for one specific platypus — Perry the Platypus!  Comments like “I’m sorry, WHAT?” have popped up in the comments of the TikTok shared by Disney. Many people have said that they’re “actually terrified” and feel like they “need an adult.” While nothing may have prepared us for this reveal, Disney had recently teased Hades and Dr. Doofenschmirtz, so we had an idea they were coming to the bash.

Also announced by Disney is Agatha Harkness in her new Agatha All Along outfit! The show will premiere with two episodes on Disney+ on September 18th, so the new outfit will be seen in the parks before the show airs.

We can’t wait to see these two and more Villains at Oogie Boogie Bash! Oogie Boogie Bash requires a specially priced ticket and runs from August 25th through October 31st at Disney California Adventure. Unfortunately, all tickets are sold out for the 2024 season. If you hope to experience the fun Halloween event next year, you’ll have to purchase tickets quickly after they go on sale!
