There’s no business like show business, right? Maybe that’s why so many people LOVE Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This park pays homage to old Hollywood, new Disney movies, and iconic live shows. It’s a popular park, and for good reason! Speaking of Hollywood Studios, we have some BIG news to share!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney confirmed a major change is headed to Hollywood Studios, and we are SO ready for it. OK, everyone. Sit down and listen up! We’ve got news to share.
Disney has just announced that an all-new LAND is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Can you guess which movie it will be based on by the picture below?
That’s right! Monsters, Inc. Land will officially be in Hollywood Studios! The monsters are inviting humans to Monstropolis, and they need our laughs to power the city and keep it running.

A new land themed to Pixar Animation Studios’ “Monsters, Inc.” is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Taking place after the events of the film, Monstropolis need humans’ laughter to power the city. Guests can even ride on a door like Mike and Sully in the iconic scene from the film with Disney’s first-ever suspended coaster.

For the first time ever, we’ll finally get to visit the laugh factory with Sully and Mike. And if you’ve ever dreamed of riding a door through the door vault, you’re not alone. Josh D’Amaro, Disney Experiences Chairman, has too! He shared, “The first time I saw Monsters, Inc., all I wanted to do was ride on one of those doors like Mike and Sulley. You’ll go into the factory and experience the first suspended coaster ever in a Disney park. Remember in the movie how those claws grab the doors and hoist them up into the air to take them away? We’re doing that, too. And you’re going along for the ride.”

I have always thought that the ‘doors’ scene in Monsters Inc. was written so it COULD be turned into a roller coaster in the parks. This is great news! I love suspension coasters!
This sounds amazing! ?
Finally! As soon as I saw Monsters Inc I knew the door scene had to be a ride. It just had to.
None of these huge projects will ever happen. Disney no longer has the talent to make them a reality.
Do we know where all of this is going ? Excited for this but am sure we’ll have to sacrifice something for it.
