Yes, I’m right there with y’all. I’m dreaming of being at Disney World or somewhere tropical ad beachy with Disney Cruise Line. If you’re also itching for a Disney vacation, we’re going to go ahead and warn you right now. DON’T KEEP READING THIS unless you are fully prepared to book a vacation. This post is filled with three reasons we’re ready to drop everything and flock to the parks. You ready?

Let’s go! First, we’ll start at EPCOT.

A STITCH Passholder Magnet Is Now Available! 

Being a Disney World Annual Pass comes with a few special perks — like free parking, discounts on merchandise and dining, and occasionally some fun freebies. That’s exactly what we’re going to check out today!

NEW Annual Passholder Magnet

There’s a NEW Annual Passholder Magnet in Disney World! The Stitch Magnet is out now, so you know we had to go get it! The magnet is available at EPCOT from May 1st to June 26th. You can pick it up at the Creations Shop, you’ll just need to show proof of your pass and a photo ID — there’s a limit of one per passholder, too!

Don’t forget to grab the Stitch Cake Cone at Sunshine Seasons during those same dates or visit the exclusive lounge at Restaurant Marrakesh! Both of these offerings are part of V.I.Passholder Days — a limited-time celebration where you can visit a Passholder lounge, enjoy special discounts, and more.

Next, we’re heading over to Magic Kingdom.

Smellephants on Parade is now OPEN! 

OK, we’ll be honest. We’ve been calling Smellephants on Parade “bizarre,” “strange,” and even “confusing.” When we say “attraction,” think more along the lines of Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana in EPCOT versus Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster or Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. During our visit to Magic Kingdom, we noticed that Smellephants on Parade was introducing a soft opening, so we went to check it out!

Smellephants on Parade is Magic Kingdom’s new walkthrough experience in Storybook Circus, where you can breathe in the sweet, salty, and savory scents of the circus! Each new elephant character is designed to remind you of a classic circus carnival-related treat, and each elephant has a special scent for you to enjoy. Sounds weird, but also…interesting? We’re intrigued.

Hot Dog

On May 2nd, Cast Members revealed that the attraction was testing a soft opening, starting at 10AM. Naturally, we stopped by to see what we could smell, and we were NOT disappointed. Allow us to walk you through the experience.

Cotton Candy Elephant

The attraction comes with a fun little scavenger hunt! Cast Members handed out these Smellephants on Parade maps, and from there, we matched each sticker to the corresponding elephant.The scent is released in “puffs,” so you may have to linger for a little while to really take in each scent. The scented air is strong, but it carries through the air, so if you’re not getting that sweet cotton candy scent, you may have to travel downwind (if you catch our drift?).

Ta-da!

While you’re in the area, you might even spot some new Imagineering details to match the attraction! Keep your eyes peeled — it’s a lot of fun. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.

Finally, let’s go on over to Hollywood Studios!

A prickly pear ice cream is our new favorite treat.

One of our favorite new(ish) additions to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Gelato Cart you can find in Muppets Courtyard.

This spot opened in late 2022 and we’ve been obsessed ever since. One scoop of any gelato at this cart is $7.50 and two is $9.75. You can split a scoop for an additional $0.75 and get it in a waffle cone for an additional $1.75. The regular flavors are great, but we especially love trying the new flavors of the month, and with summer on the way, we’ve got a new one to try!

Prickly Pear Sorbet

This month’s flavor is called Prickly Pear Sorbet! This option has a very unique flavor that we almost have a hard time describing. There’s an aspect of it that tastes like pear, but then there’s something that tastes more more like vanilla or caramel. The best way we can describe it is that we got hints of pear, cranberry (with zero tartness), vanilla, and caramel!

Yum!

However, we loved it! It’s very refreshing and tastes more like fruit than the other flavors mentioned, but we love the pleasant surprise the other flavors gave us! Heads up though that it is VERY sweet, and we even felt a bit of a buzz afterwards. Do not order this expecting the sugar content of a fruit juice!
