It’s summertime in Disney World, and that means a lot of things.
Crowds are picking up in the parks as more families take summer vacations, but we do our best to help you make the most of your vacations even when the parks are busy. However, if you’re looking to dine at one particular EPCOT restaurant, there’s something you need to know.
Disney announced that part of the Biergarten restaurant in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion will be closed in July.

The restaurant itself will still be open, but the dance floor will be closed from July 17th-28th for refurbishment. Live music will still be available while you dine, though. (PHEW!)
If you want the full authentic experience of dining at this restaurant, you might want to hold off during the temporary refurbishment this July. Luckily, there are TONS of other places to eat in the World Showcase, like Le Cellier, Via Napoli, and La Hacienda de San Angel.

Here’s a look at some of the foods we’ve tried here!
We’ve got a full review of this restaurant if you’re on the fence about this restaurant, but keep in mind this is a table service restaurant that will likely take up a decent chunk of park time. That said, the atmosphere is pretty lively, and we’ve had a lot of fun dining here in the past!
In other refurbishment news, you may notice a giant crane in the center of the World Showcase during your next trip to the parks. We have a feeling that it has something to do with the recent removal of those huge Harmonious barges on the World Showcase Lagoon.

We noticed this giant crane in EPCOT recently!
Between all the construction projects happening around the World Showcase and the new Moana walkthrough attraction coming soon to EPOCT, there’s a LOT going on in the park right now!

Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana is coming soon!
