Disney World can be a great place for vegan eaters to visit! The culinary staff members are trained to accommodate many different dietary restrictions and food allergies, and many of the restaurants off plant-based appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

Today, we’re headed to EPCOT to check out all of the plant-based eats!

A couple of things to note here in our guide to Vegan food at EPCOT:

First, remember that there is usually a festival going on here that will feature additional food and drink options! Be sure to follow DFB for the latest festival menus — they often include many new vegan options!

And second, note that many of the restaurant menus here do not include things specifically designated as plant-based items. We believe that in almost every case, there are plant-based items, or items that can be modified to be vegan, at these locations. We would also note that there are many items on the menus — such as pretzels, vegetable side dishes, grain side dishes, sorbets, guacamole, etc. — that are commonly plant-based. We suggest you speak to a cast member at these dining locations. They will be happy to verify that an item is vegan or suggest items that can be modified for you!

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Breakfast (returning May 14th)

You pay one price at Akershus for a buffet-style meal. There is nothing noted as plant-based on the current menu. However, we expect that there are vegan offerings. Speak to a cast member about your dietary restriction.

Lunch and Dinner

You pay one price at Akershus for a buffet-style meal. There are two items – plant-based bratwurst and plant-based vanilla gelato. We expect that there are additional vegan offerings. Speak to a cast member about your dietary restriction.

Biergarten Restaurant

This is a buffet meal. The only thing listed as plant-based on the menu is Sauerkraut. We expect that there are additional vegan offerings. Consult a Cast Member.
