Come take an adventure through Disney’s Animal Kingdom with us!

Shrubs, spooks, and princesses– oh my! With Halloween time in full swing around Disney World, we’ve seen some haunted additions materialize in Animal Kingdom. We’ve also seen some not-so-spooky merchandise pop up around the park — as well as a new royal treat! So let’s head over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to see what’s new.

Animal Kingdom Food Updates

Creature Comforts

For World Princess Week, guests could visit this location and grab the Pocahontas Mousse. It was a Pineapple-Banana Cake with Coconut Cream Cheese Mousse, a Chocolate Feather, and a Candy Gem.

The dessert was obviously very pretty, and was great for those who enjoy coconut and cheesecake! When it was available, you could grab it for $5.99. Sadly, it was only available last week, as World Princess Week has now ended. We’ll let you know if it makes a return for next year’s World Princess Week.

Animal Kingdom Construction Updates

Walls are up around an animal exhibit area near the front of Animal Kingdom. We’re not too sure what they’re working on, but we’ll update you when details are released!

The front of the DINOSAUR attraction is also covered by shrubs! You can still head in to ride this attraction, but the fountain and dinosaur statue are currently hidden from view.

We’ll keep you updated on movement in both of these areas!

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Riverside Depot

It’s a royal affair over here, thanks to the addition of 2 new mugs. First up is the Rapunzel Mug With Crown Coaster for $19.99. It shows off a blue silhouette of Rapunzel (complete with her flowers in her hair, of course), and has a pink Crown Coaster to place your mug on.

We also spotted the Sleeping Beauty Gem Mug! It says “Sleeping Beauty” and is covered in gems. You can grab it now for $22.99.

Discovery Trading

Boo! Are you ready to see the new spooks arriving at Discovery Trading? You can grab a tooooon of Haunted Mansion items here, like the I’m A Heartbreaker Name Plate for $14.99, which features the bride from the ride.

You can also grab the kiddo a Haunted Mansion Shirt for $29.99. It’s covered in a pattern featuring Madame Leota and the musical instruments her ghoulies play.

There are also 2 Haunted Mansion Ornaments here — the Hitchhiking Ghost Ornament…

…and the Haunted Mansion Gate Ornament. Both are $26.99.

If you’re a fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas, you’ll want to check these next items out! You can grab the Jack Skellington Sweatpants for $49.99…

…or the matching Jack Skellington Hoodie for $49.99.

You can also find a Jack Skellington Note Card Set for $19.99. It features the same 3D-style design we’ve seen on his other Halloween merchandise this year.

Following the 3D-style theme, there’s also the Nightmare Before Christmas Windbreaker Jacket. It’s $50.99 and features various characters from the movie.

And the last new item is the Skeleton Dance nuiMO Outfit for $12.99. This is a Halloween item that’s part of the Skeleton Dance collection.

Over here, you can grab the “Park Hopping Is My Cardio” Hat for $29.99. It’s true, what can we say?

There’s also a Youth Pandora Fanny Pack for $24.99. It features a design inspired by Avatar.

Speaking of Windtraders, there was another new item here — the Pandora Hoodie. It’s $64.99 and says “Experience Pandora” with various icons.
