There’s a lot to look forward to at Disney World!

Hello, EPCOT Ball!
There’s the upcoming (official) launch of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind on May 27th, the new Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond! show, and the return of Fantasmic! And thanks to D23’s new podcast, we received more information on these exciting offerings coming to Disney World!
D23 uploaded a new podcast to their Twitter, highlighting some of the changes coming to Disney World!

Aside from discussing the excitement surrounding the new attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, we also got a look at other new offerings — like Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond!

The Reimagined Show
It’s a reimagined version of Animal Kingdom’s Finding Nemo: The Musical that includes new technology and show sets!

New Sets
The podcast also discussed the updates to Fantasmic! The heart of the story is the same, while slight updates were made, thanks to technological advances! There’s a new audio system, new lighting, new projections, new music, and the Pocahontas section is totally brand new!

Fantasmic!
Another offering they highlighted was Magicband+! It brings new technology and innovations to park experiences, like the ability to integrate with nighttime spectaculars, or be a Bounty Hunter in Galaxy’s Edge! Guests will still be able to use the band for hands-free convenience to get into parks, redeem Lightning Lane access, and get into Disney Resort hotels! And current magic bands won’t lose their capabilities around the parks!

MagicBand+
Those were the most notable upcoming offerings they mentioned! They also spoke with Josh D’Amaro, tried some of the 50th Anniversary treats, ate at Connections Eatery, talked about EPCOT’s future, and more! So check out the full podcast t0 get all the details. And stay tuned to DFB for all the latest updates!
