NEWS: Grad Nite is Coming BACK to Disneyland Resort This Year

Let’s face it, Disneyland Resort had some KILLER after-hours events in 2021. Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure was full of spooky delights (like Agatha Harkness and a Zombie Captain America!) and Merriest Nites in Disneyland was a ton of festive fun and even the Muppets were there (we may or may not have cried when we saw them).

More nighttime fun is on the way! Disneyland After Dark will be coming back in 2022, and now we just got word about another classic event returning to Disneyland this year.

According to the Orange County Register, graduating high school seniors will be able to once again take part in Grad Nite at Disneyland! The class of 2022 will have the chance to participate in the ticketed event on May 13th, 14th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th, and June 1st, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, and 17th. Grad Nite features an after-hours party at Disney California Adventure with all sorts of fun from 9 PM to 2 AM. Disney characters will be dressed in graduation gear for photo ops and there will also be themed food and drinks.

For the last two years, Grad Nite has been canceled due to concerns su rrounding COVID-19. In 2020, the parks were still closed and in 2021, capacity rules didn’t allow for the event to take place. Disney Youth Programs has noted, “When we missed sharing the Disneyland resort Grad Nite experience with the classes of 2020 and 2021, we were determined to bring back the experience soon to the many future graduates who were looking forward to celebrating at the Disneyland resort.”

Grad Nite Private Party Experience ($89): Access to the Grad Nite party and Disney California Adventure starting at 9 PM
Grad Nite + Disney California Adventure ($119): All-day access to Disney California Adventure during normal operating hours and access to the Grad Nite party
Grad Nite + Park Hopper ($179): All-day access to Disneyland & Disney California Adventure during normal operating hours and access to the Grad Nite party
