WOW, here we are in the month of May! Not only will next week bring with it the first full week of the month of May, but next week also means that May the Fourth is just around the corner! Will you be celebrating in Disney World?
If so, you’ll want to make sure you’ve brushed up on those park hours and Park Pass Reservation availability for the week of May 2nd, 2021. That way, you’ll be able to anticipate which days may be more crowded than others, so you can then plan your vacation accordingly!
Disney World Park Hours the Week of May 2nd
For the week of May 2nd, Magic Kingdom will be open each day from 8AM-9PM.
EPCOT will be open daily next week from 11AM-10PM. The Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will also be open daily next week from 11AM-10PM.
Next week, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open daily from 9AM-8PM.
The one noticeable change last week will be at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The park will be open daily from 8AM-7PM, closing one hour earlier than it has been in recent weeks.
And don’t forget Park Hopping is still available for those with the Park Hopper option added onto their tickets after 2PM each day. In order to Park Hop, you must be scanned into the first park of the day, for which you have a confirmed Park Pass Reservation. After that, you do not need any additional Park Pass reservations.
So, if you see a park below that you want to visit but does not have Park Pass availability, you can always try to hop there after 2PM, as long as you have that Park Hopper option and you have scanned into your first park of the day.

If your goal is to visit Hollywood Studios to celebrate May the Fourth and you have yet to book a Park Pass Reservation, all three ticket types will need to start their day in another park and then hop to Hollywood Studios at 2PM. Keep in mind, however, that if you want to experience Rise of the Resistance, you MUST have a confirmed Park Pass Reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
