Disney World Cast Members are seriously some of the most special people on Earth — and we will say that every chance we get!
They go above and beyond every day to make every guest’s experience at Disney World as magical as possible. And seriously, we LOVE them for it! And Disney seems to appreciate them, too, and recently even changed its policies so that cast members could be more themselves while at work! But we seriously can’t wipe the smile off our face after the amazing, above and beyond sweet Cast Member we met today.
We were reminded again today of just how precious Cast Members really are. We’ll tell you a billion and one times — slow down and (in many cases) look down when you’re walking around Disney World. You never know what you could stumble upon. We were walking through Disney’s Animal Kingdom when we came upon this. It’s a Mickey made of fallen flowers! Isn’t that sweet?

A flower Mickey!
That alone is enough to put a smile on our faces. But the story behind that Mickey is what gave us even MORE joy. It was made by Cast Member Edline, who told us she loves creating flower Mickeys because the kids see it and it makes her happy to see them smile. Stop IT! We’re not crying — you are!

Edline just over here making magic for everyone!
She found the flowers when she was walking near Asia — she said she likes these particular ones because they’re heavier and don’t blow away so easily. Really think about that. This awesome Cast Member gathered fallen flowers from the ground and carried them with her across the park just to make something sweet for guests. Our HEARTS!
Her flower Mickey and amazing sweetness made us want to tell the world just how wonderful we think she is! We challenge all of you to be more like Edline and do some small thing to make the world a better place today. So thank you, Edline, for making Disney World even MORE magical and making OUR day!
And if we spot any other amazing Cast Members (there are lots, so we totally will!), we’ll be sure to tell you ALL about them!
