We were just about to leave Disney Springs this afternoon when something caught our eye!

And while it might not be as fancy as other modes of transportation such as the monorail or Disney’s Skyliner gondolas (which we’ve also seen out-and-about recently!) it gets the job of gettin’ around at Disney World just as well!
We’re talking about Disney World’s buses, of course! Once a common sight, when the theme parks and hotels closed down, we stopped seeing these guys and this is the FIRST time we’ve spotted one since March!
It’s a BUS!
But after months of waiting, we can officially say it looks like Disney World is gettin’ ready to welcome guests back again! This bus only listed “training” as its destination, but soon it’s electronic sign with be filled with more exciting places like Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11th as well as Hollywood Studios and Epcot on July 15th!
Let’s Go For a Bus Ride!
We noticed the driver was wearing a face mask, too even though he seemed to be the only person on board! We haven’t seen Disney’s Magical Express drive passed us yet, but we have a feeling it won’t be too much longer since some of the hotels will be reopening June 22nd!

There have been a few reports of people passing out while driving due to prolonged mask wearing. The CDC recommends that you do not wear a mask while driving. I understand that a bus driver come in contact with many other people. But I hope they have a plan to give the driver sufficient breaks without a mask on.
